New at Diebold: UltraGrip™ 3.0

Diebold UltraGrip™ 3.0 power chucks are specially designed for heavy-duty machining. They are characterized by the highest possible clamping forces and have vibration-damping properties due to their special design.

UltraGrip™ 3.0 offer high clamping forces and vibration-damping properties due to their special design. The combination of maximum radial run-out precision and the highest possible clamping forces is unique in this form. The complete range of HPC milling with large cutting depths combined with higher feed rates and extreme cutting forces is now completely covered.

The new UltraGrip™3.0 power chuck was first introduced at the AMB show 2018 in Stuttgart. Due to consistent further development and research, the new UltraGrip™3.0 has further advantages to offer:

  • The roller bearings were rearranged and the roller cage was optimized. This results in higher holding forces.
  • Deformation areas were introduced that result in a higher holding force.
  • UltraGrip™ 3.0 power chucks now have more clamping elements, which results in higher holding forces.

Due to the higher holding forces and the optimized radial run-out, the chucks have a much longer service life.
